He asks for a rod constantly when there is a river nearby, fly rod, spin rod, doesn't matter.
Green was silty, so a flashy spoon brought in a couple catfish and a small mouth bass. The creek feeding into the river a couple days later was crystal clear and full of BIG picky spooky fish. I landed a nice rainbow, bout 18" is my guess. Fun times.
