Some of my more recent edits; some small projects to get some editing and filming skills. It's been fun to get into a hobby I'm fairly new at. Who knows, maybe it'll turn into something more later on down the road. Open to criticism here, but otherwise enjoy.

No fish porn. Just a friend of mine standing knee deep in a trout stream.

I caught a big carp a couple weeks ago, and my dad was jeally, so he went to the same spot to try to catch one too...

What do you think? Same fish or not?

Lol, carp hunting runs in the family though! I was only fishing that spot because I was jeally of my sister's catch last year!

    Nice carp!

No pics but goddamn I'm so sick of peoples shitty boat ramp etiquette. I had my mom and sister in town to go to a fairly popular lake near the MT/Idaho border. We were going to spread my dads ashes as it was the last place I got to fish with him. Despite more than a few "no day use" signs and no stopping for more than 10min signs, I had to wait while a fuckload of kayaks, sups, and assorted floatables just parked on the ramp. I had just enough room to jackknife the trailer next to my boat and load up. People are inconsiderate fucks. /End Rant.

^ one of my favorite activities as well. Although after tripping through the stream and slapping all available water with my line, I just assume there are no fish in there.

The ripples mask it but that little pool was at least ten feet deep. I voluntarily entered the water shortly after the photo was taken.

If I were a trout, that pool would be prime real estate.

Oh man I wish had a bamboo rod. Maybe one day. That is actually an Echo fiberglass rod. I love it.

Got back up high again this weekend to beat the heat.

I’m still hunting that Swimmy size brown, but stuck this nice one on the Salida town run.

My local river in Northern CO was running black again due to flash flooding in the recent burn scars. Sucks, it’s going to be at least a few years till we see a trout recovery. Lots and lots of dead fish.

Thinking of picking up a 3 or 4wt glass rod for small streams and creeks. Which one do you have? Not much opportunity to test cast any around me, so looking for suggestions and recommendations.

I picked up a Hardy 4/5 weight glass rod a couple weeks ago. Was worried it might be a bit stiff but I like the backbone to get em in without stressing them out too much. Fished my buddy’s 3 wt butterstick and it made me glad I didn’t go that direction
