2022 SHITTY FISHING PICTURES AND TALL TALES OF THINGS THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN

Bobber dunking season continues in my neck of the woods. Another gorgeous weekend with the big W almost nonexistent Sunday. We’ve been getting a good feel for the new rig, with only a handful of days in her last year. Wifey is getting pretty dialed on the sticks, which means I get to catch some fish!

Mike at Stealthcraft built the front out with the ability to run a large double seat dry box or a single pedestal. Pretty stoked on it, pedestal setup leaves so much room for activities!

2022 SHITTY FISHING PICTURES AND TALL TALES OF THINGS THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN

Hope I can be as good a son to my father in his old age as you are dibs. That pic of your old man at the booth brings a smile to my face

I was all hyped to catch a snook while in Sarasota last week but my motivation to sneak out and surf fish each morning was stymied by the unrelenting 15-20mph west wind. Seriously, it blew like that non stop for 5 days straight. Next time, Siesta Key….

Did get out for a quick put around the bay in my GF’s cousin’s boat. Some fun looking water back there.

2022 SHITTY FISHING PICTURES AND TALL TALES OF THINGS THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN

Wifey had the guys at Riverboat Works down in Salida, CO build a little fishing frame for her R2 boat. Good guys, and they did an awesome job with the frame and fit. Very reasonable build time. They also have a sweet shop with tons of river stuff, so stop in if your ever in that neck of the woods.

First float was yesterday on the lower Ark at 213cfs. Sporty to say the least. Little rig did awesome and catches fish! Its easy to carry and fits nicely in the short truck bed. Casting brace, front bay, and anchor are removable so frame can be ran centered up as a solo whitewater setup.

Very cool little boat. We had the guys at Riverboat Works pimp out our rubber boat too. They are awesome guys, do great work and I thought they were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

Nice boats! Ron at RBW rigged up 2 boats for me a long time back. Spent some good quality time down there. Great folks and real
High quality craftsmanship. Bonus was fishin the Ark for the bwo hatch. Timed it right both trips.

Working in CA for a month and a half and the place we are staying has a pond so I brought along a 4 wt fly rod to practice a few casts and a mini fly box just in case. Turns out the pond has bluegills and largemouth bass and I have one streamer in my mini fly box. Harry to the rescue! He sent me a selection of WI poppers so the local bass get proper exercise. Thank you Harry!
