Question for Salomon shop techs...
Hey guys I’m self mounting some QST blanks with MTN’s
I can’t find a 21/22 Salomon alpine manual online.
Do I need to tap the blanks? They say no metal in them but the pair I just pilot holed definitely has metal in it...

Skis often have a little metal in the binding mount area. Tapping it won't hurt anything. I think there's usually a symbol on the ski next to the drill bit spec that says to tap if necessary. I think it's the circle with a slash through it like a null set.
