Hello SAR Wolverine Handlers and Welcome to the 2022 Avalanche Wolverine School.
Let's discuss our seminar agendas for the day:
1. Nutrition and SAR Wolverines - Enough they only nibble. Remember too much as they lose interest in the search, too little and they get too enthusiastic.
2. Side by side protocol - why you should never leave your wolverine alone with the patient
3. Lawsuits - unavoidable annoyance, or opportunity for publicity?
4. Flight operations - We'll teach you how to land the rescue helicopter in case your wolverine mauls the pilot
Lunch - PB&J for handlers and raw steak for your partner
5. Hangfire mitigation - how wolverines literally intimidate avalanches
6. Snowmobiles operations - how to calm nervous sled drivers and ways to use a Kevlar blanket to protect their vulnerable necks
7. Mental Health - How to cope with the screams of people being eaten by wolverines
