Smith IO Mag XL - bad leaky design?
All right people, does anybody else have issues with the Smith IO Mag XL goggles having a horrible seal and letting snow drift into them?
I know multiple people here on our home mountain who say that during storm riding these things just like snow inside.
Today after three runs of 12° 18 inch blower I had to go back to my car to defrost the damn things.
Anyone else have issues with this Smith model?Let me lock in the system at Warp 2
Push it on into systematic overdrive
You know what to do

Yep, plus on any windy day you’ll get snow between the inner and outer lens and then the lenses are basically done. File a warranty claim, Smith is amazing with them.

Did u ever consider that Maybe the XL is to big for your face? Try the regular IO I’m sure it fits much better....

Smith IO Mag XL - bad leaky design?
Are you sure you’re seating the lens correctly? I noticed after a day earlier this season that I had been skiing all day with the top of the lens not seated correctly. If it had been snowing there most definitely would have been a chance of snow getting inside.
