    Speedy Stitcher Creations

Back in my Patrol days we had Speedy Stitchers in all the huts to aid in repairing equipment. We made packs for dogs, upgraded harnesses, fixed our own packs. Speedy Stitchers were a part of lunch... always on duty.

In the scenario that you do know what a Speedy Stitcher is, what have you made?

One of my faves from Bridger Bowl was my Avi Shovel/Backpack Ski Carrier.

I built a strap system to strap a shovel to my back that also carried my skis. I turned my shovel into a frame to carry my gear. Nothing very glamorous but it was definitely a rad dirt-bag solution to skiing hard without a backpack in the way.

What have you other dirtbags made with Speedy Stitchers?

I should also probably allow any ascents while on acid with gloves from the hardware store to accompany this conversation... because... acid and speedy stitchers probably, at least kinda, live in the same room.

Fixed a hole in the raft floor… got it to the takeout.
