Chatted with some shop folks this weekend who had played with the Tecnica boot last week. Sounds like it’s just under a kg in 26.5 and fits closer to the Fischer Transalp than the Zero G. But who knows.
allagashgrizzly need any help figuring out Imgur?

Nice Closeup.
Could you back up a bit and take another photo for us?

It was overcast this morning so the light wasn't the best. I'm guessing the testers will get blasted tonight and return home w the covids tomorrow, but will see if I can get more pics.
Picked up a cheap pair of 106 Blaze womens and my daughter had a lot of fun w them on 2 powder days.

Saw the new Ranger in the Wild today, 108mm underfoot with a 18m Radius in 185cm.

22/23 gear rumors
With all the Volkl talk does anyone know if there are changes to the M102 or K108 for next year other than graphics?

yeah, and the tailored titanal frame update too. I would not be terribly surprised if these two changes also makes for a tweak (what radii and how they relate) to the 3d sidecut too, but can't tell from the photos. I think they look pretty nice - very clean.

even more interesting from the back imho
hm, interesting question for sure. Carbon has apparently increased significantly in price due to covid, so the very carbon intensive Katanas (11 layers?) might be cost prohibitive to produce at some point. Hell, BMTs and MVWs might be cost prohibitive to manufacture too. Too bad if so as they are great skis.

^^^ boot looks like an upside down hoji lock system.

Yea, the V-werx katana is back unchanged next year.
I was hoping for an update to be honest. Can't help but wonder how it would ski with a more modern mount. Not too modern though...-10 would do fine.

Should be getting on them this week. I’ll report back if someone hasn’t.

I really need someone to undertake some corporate espionage and find out more about the ARG II UL. Pics, specs, etc. Should be super fun for the conditions we've got going right now.

That has to be the heaviest ski to ever have "UL" in the name.
It is way lighter than the standard ones though, so I'm not sure what I was really expecting.

It's 135mm wide. Can't be that light. If you're going after something that wide lets not get too caught up in the efficiency game. Realistically your skins are coming in at 450-550g per ski at that length/width anyway.
