I like the look of the XT. Looks like a refined MTN Lab. For some reason I get the impression that they are narrow around ancle / lower calf? If so, they could be great for me.

Definitely checking these out as I've been on original MTN Labs with a aftermarket liner since they came out. Picked up a pair of ZeroG Scouts last year, but not loving them so far.
On the other hand, I really liked the buckle arrangement on the Labs, so a improved fit there could be the ticket as well

Or, they could have just started from scratch and came up with something that looks like a prius. I had a pair of Scarpa something-or-other... orange... touring boot from 22 years ago that fit amazing but were too soft and hurt to ski in.

Who knows. It's a pretty bold move to start a new ski boot line. They understand the risk. Hopefully Bode assessed it.

Maybe it's rad. I mean, I hope so.

Maybe itís the touring fulltilt we have been waiting for.

I flexed the red Armada Locator in store the other day, pretty stiff.

Would like to hear more about the Armada Locator. Anyone got specs yet, hopefully it's not just a shitty rebadged backland?

As someone who skis 150+ days a year in plug boots, Iím very interested. The freedom however had a horrible fit, tight in the forefoot and loose as hell in the heel ankle, so my interest is somewhat muted.

    Found this on NS: https://www.newschoolers.com/ski-gea...35/Locator-112

    Specs:

    Sizes: 166, 173, 180, 187
    Dimensions: 136 - 112 - 128 @ 180
    Radius: 24 @ 180
    Weight: 1500g @ 180

Someone else would have to compare it to the Backland.

Itís easy. I ski everyday the lifts spin and some days after. Never have actually counted but since I know the lifts spin that many days I assume I get 150+

Yeah, that looks pretty nice. The graphic are slightly nauseating for some reason, but I'm sure others won't care, and I don't really either. Atomic light construction, yes please!
