Pretty sure they are just on to their third graphic, which will continue to hold that ski back.

Quantum Asolo heel fit is mainly due to the super thin/light stock liner, I’ve been skiing mine with my atomic hawx XTD liner (2019 green version) with great heel hold. Might upgrade to tour wraps to drop weight back to stock levels.

That's my hope....because my salomon rocker 122s begin to Fall apart and they should be similar...so I hope there will be some cheap ones floating around in the summer or next season.

Hey SJ - your "piste office" (great name by the way) links to a UK shop - are you overseas? Are mags buying from you over here in the new world? Thanks for the heads up that the 40 is unchanged (although I would've prefer a new color rather than black but thats not a deal breaker)

    Super nerd for sure!

I suck to much to ski boots like this but am stoked that some tech could go to the ZG boots and drop the weight some.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

That looks a lot like the skorpius lower buckle solution with a way better power strap. I wonder how the fit is

Why did they put the lower buckle in a position to get hit by everything? That is going to get destroyed and opened all the time

So all these boots have pretty much converged into the same thing?

The buckles also oriented and positioned to tuck behind the widest part of the boot. Being swept back about 45d from how most buckles are oriented will also help keep it from being knocked around.

Is that a spring-loaded latch on the bottom of the mode lever, like on the ZeroG Tour? That's a nice touch, wish the F1-LT lever had one. The clog appears to be taller than the F1 clog, so probably more lateral support. Doesn't have the cuff ribs like the F1-LT or the "Lamda frame" design on the clog to tie the high-load points at the heel and toe fittings to the cuff pivot, but no doubt Tecnica has been testing this shell for a couple years (so they must not be cracking at the heel and toe).

Definitely looking forward to a shoot-out between the Peak Carbon and the F1-XT.

There’s something rather unique about the ZG Peak that no other boot in this category has… more info Monday or Tuesday.

    Won’t be available until Fall.

    Ball bearing cuff pivot?

Looks like it has the dual lock bar mechanism of the ZeroG Tour to boost rigidity, though I have no idea how much difference that actually makes.
