This is pretty exciting. Releasable ala tecton vipec? Or just variable clamping pressure or something? ATK has been killing it, if they can execute well on that and keep the weight down that will be impressive. And they will sell many.

    Also, PICS!!!?

It's variable clamping pressure from what I've heard. Just waiting on the full specs.

How about a Head/Tyrolia binding with 'knee saving' lateral release in the heel:

Cause I bought this year’s pink FR 102. Skied it a day and then listed it on FB marketplace/Craigslist and had 5 people wanting to buy it ASAP. The seller paid my cost (even with a mount and one ski day) without negotiating. I was even offered immediate deposits to hold it by two potential buyers.

Never seen that before so makes me wonder if Fischer are offering two colours (like pink and blue this year)? Cause man people love pink.

PS - great ski just wasn’t “better enough” than my E104 to warrant keeping it.
Had the same experience this weekend. Someone tried to buy my (non pink) r102s out from under me.

I'd love to see pics or hear more of how they are doing brakes.

Will lateral heel release fget on base with this one or finally strike out? Line reactor - Strike One. Knee Binding - Strike Two.

Blister really liked it + a lot of other publications fluff "awards" always seems to help with that.
TLDR; Ski faster. Quit breathing. Don't crash.

    Nope, only bland colors:

Man, is anyone else devastated that the trout graphics are only on the shorter length? I was so excited about that ski......

Looks like Alpride is coming out with version 2 of the super capacitor airbag system. Scott, Deuter, and BCA, Millet (and maybe more?) have packs with it. Some details on Alpride 2.0 vs 1.0

    40% more compact: 1.19L (E1 1.0) vs. 2.05L (E1 2.0)

    15% lighter: 1140 g (E1 2.0) vs. 1280 g (E1 1.0)

    Larger 12 liter tank: 162 L (E1 2.0) vs. 150L (E1 1.0)

    Increased charging speed: USB-C (E1 2.0) vs. micro USC (E1 1.0)

    New compartment for AA batteries

Added an LSD screen to check the charge level of the super-capacitor and AA batteries

New deflation button with access to the outside of the bag

Addition of an automatic vacuum valve to remove the pressure from the airbag, 3 minutes after inflation

Easier to remove from the backpack, for off-ski use

Also, ON3P should be pretty close to launch the new Mango 90, 100 and 110 series - aka the next step in what used to be the Magnus line. If you want to call it a late 2022 model or early 2023 is kinda potato potato.

They also kinda hinted that there were more surprises coming this winter in the Blister podcast, so perhaps a second pro topsheet ski, a reworked C+D, restocking of Jeff118s (those who have been on them thus far in the ON3P thread have REALLY been liking them) or something else. Time will tell.

That silly Atomic/Salomon binding is actually pretty legit. Skied on it today. Feels good.

Would you rather have it on your feet versus an STH or Pivot? Curious about the elastic travel specs.

That heel looks like a knee binding.

Snagged this from the FWT IG…M-Pro 108. Second shot shows the tail rocker profile. It’s a video capture but the best I could do.

LSD screens can be difficult to read:

Should really use a technology that allows for better legibility for such a critical piece of equipment.
