What’s amazing is that it’s only 150k more than my 1600sqft house in Cottonwood Heights, UT. That needs a pretty serious remodel inside.

Can anyone comment on why it appears there is so much inventory in the SLC area? Someone mentioned people are moving out due to the water issues (as in lack of future supply). I don't believe it but....
Looks like some really good values.

I wouldn’t say they’re close to reality. My house over doubled in value in 5 years. Maybe that just says that prices were super cheap a decade ago. And they were. But they certainly aren’t reasonable now. Maybe compared to California

Zillow/Redfin Gems
I think it’s pretty cool. There’s def some maintenance stuff that could be addressed, but the finishes really seem to be in good shape. A re-roof is likely necessary but the copper might be prohibitive for a new owner that isn’t committed.

There is a lot of half ass heat trace in the gutters for a reason. One you don't want to find out about when it doesn't work.
I would think about pulling 70% of the roof and redoing it.

120,000 square feet seems a bit much.
But 16 bedrooms is nice.
Fucking candles. Damn. I picked the wrong occupation

I think printed houses are cool. Most of the time I see this technology highlighted, it's low-cost builds for developing nations, so it's nice to see what they can do in a higher price bracket. I was a little surprised to see it took them 6 months after the print to be move in ready, is that a normal pace? With more mature house printing technology, I wonder if they could speed that up. E.g., print the walls with cable chases, etc.

^ Made me think of Cross Laminated Timber. Pretty fast build times possible, less carbon intensive than concrete, talk of producing it in developing nations and areas in need of medium & high density residential housing as well as high end construction. Panels can be finished with routing for utilities, and provide lots of freedom to locate windows and doors.
