They bowling alley is pretty cool.

definitely windy AF. Buzzards Bay is one of the windiest spots on the Northeast coast, and that place is completely exposed.

Don't they have tides and storms there? That place is almost in the water. House has some cool things about it though.

I'm impressed by the washer and dryer. Those have got to date from the mid '80s at the very latest and they look pristine.

Indeed. What this house needs is a big Curtis Mathes console TV in the living room.

My wife has shown some houses in that gated community. There's a strict height restriction, so the older parts have a 'mobile homes for rich people' vibe. And if you look at the satellite pic, you'll see there's no shortage of mobile homes for poor people all over Birch Bay too.

There are storms, but it's so shallow that at low tide there's probably 500 feet of sand between that house and the water's edge. And it is somewhat sheltered by Cherry Point across the bay (also home to two oil refineries!) And guess which way the wind usually blows?

Crazy as it sounds, Birch Bay does occasionally flood - from the land side. But that's generally south of this house.

FL house built by the founder of Hawaiian Tropic. Outside looks normal, inside sets new standards for tastelessness.

    Zillow/Redfin Gems

Wow, I drove by that house like a month ago and saw a for sale sign. The wife said we'd buy it if we win the lottery. She just reneged on that deal.

It looks like there's a restaurant in there. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1...pid/?mmlb=g,52

The guest bedroom was pretty calm, but tiny.

There’s at least a kilo of coke in the threads of that aquamarine carpet alone.

I love the Chinese takeout photo walls he has there.
