I don't mind that place one bit and could spend hours looking. Only thing I wouldn't want to do is keep it clean.

I wouldn't be able to walk around without knocking something over. That much clutter would drive me nuts. Is all the furniture and shit on the walls included with the sale?

I guess, but as furnished, nothing about that place looks remotely comfortable, not to mention there's not even a table to eat at. More of a museum than a livable space.

Built in 1958 (64 years ago) for the current owner who needed a huge closet, an entertaining kitchen with four ovens and a huge cook space + an attended bar?

    Zillow/Redfin Gems

I toured this one last week prior to listing (architect is a friend). It is pretty dang cool. I’m guessing it will go for closer to $2m because of how unique it is.

The addition in the 1970s and the recent remodel were both tastefully done and executed, it’d be a nice place on a summer evening

Help us out who don't live near these. Why? Needle mess? Weird growth? Protection status? Fire danger?

The leaves (redwoods don't have needles) are a huge mess, they kill and stain everything the fall on, the trees break easily, the volunteers grow everywhere.. Nice out in the wild, but not around houses, BTDT Santa Cruz 97-08.

Definitely. I'd live there in a second. I'm surprised the list price in that low.

Uh, holy shit. Seems like a tough sell, but what do I know? Also, that's a whole lotta dog food.

Makes me think interior decorators should have a mandate to report when their clients are obviously mentally unwell like Steve.

Is the kitchen just a hot plate and some fold out tables? Seems to be inhabited by someone named Steve, Steve Liberace?

Pics 28 and 29 are beyond strange, "Steve's Palace" above the tub, which is in the bedroom. Note the gold bars lining the tub steps. I count a second soaking tub.

You gotta question the chops of any real estate agent who would take a listing like this. Hard up, or naive and just starting out come to mind.
