    Latchit Racks?

    Anyone used Latchit Racks?

    https://latchitrack.com/

Wondering if this is a viable solution for making short bed trucks functional.

I’d be afraid the tailgate would take a beating, especially on gravel and dirt roads.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Yeah maybe. Is that an issue with regular bed extenders? Since I already own a pad I could run it on the tailgate to protect it from rocks getting kicked up #graspingatstraws

What about something like the Kuat Dirtbag? It does require removal of the front tire which isn't great for shuttling, but it reduces the the overall length needed in you truck bed. Also, if thievery is a concern, the Kuat is a few more steps to steal the bike vs. just lifting it off the tailgate/Latchit.
