Mounting new Look PX bindings without race plates?

Basically the title. I've been looking to grab some really solid bindings, been seeing that people have been using older PX models on fat skis. Any idea whether it might be possible to mount the newer race models (which usually are attached to a race plate) directly to a ski?

Might just buy some older ones if not.

I have seen 3 people do it. That said for whatever reason those same people ripped the heel piece out of their skis.
Just get a Pivot and be done with it.

If you want some race plates to stick them on PM me - I think the ones I have are for PX but I’d have to check holes

Gotcha, thanks for the info. Guess I will not be going after this route after all. Yeah I've had pivots and not the biggest fan, will prob just try grabbing an old pair of PXs from someone here.
