Class of ‘21 multiple shoulder surgery survivor sending healing vibes your way. Mine were bi-lateral bankart repairs and a revision back on the right. Circumferential on the right w/6 poly anchors and only 5 on the left. All the best!

This just in: pain sucks.
But one of wifey’s employees brought me fresh, warm blueberry scones, so that’s something.
Thanks for the well wishes!Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident

When I had a shoulder rebuilt they inserted a tube into the joint and connected to a pump that injected painkiller.
Except the painkiller leaked out where the tube entered. Minimal benefit, maximum mess so I pull out the tube after two days. It was like two feet long -kinda freaky.
Good luck on the rehab.

I also have drugs.

Hey, thanks!
Good recovery, so far, so good.
Can already sleep on both sides, so that’s a huge relief, I basically wasn’t sleeping much.
Puppy nearly pulled the bad arm out of it’s socket crossing Broadway, other than that, pretty smooth sailing. Should be getting after some turns by mid January (after the crowds thin out).Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident
