WTB: Black Diamond BD O1 Telemark Bindings
FOUND
I've got a line on a pair coming up for sale, but the deal isn't for sure. Figured I'd post here in case somebody has a spare pair sitting around. I prefer the six-screw version if possible. Willing to pay a fair price plus shipping to northern New Mexico.

I have to ask, why? Those bindings suck.

They do have their problems, but I really like the way they ski.

Because I don't know any better. Half a binding, half a brain, I suppose. Kinda like staying in a bad relationship.
Last season I got into tele after picking up a package deal with BD O1's at a local ski swap. I am now wanting to add to my quiver and figured I'd get another set of BD O1's because they're familiar.
What budget-conscious 75mm bindings would you recommend instead?

Rotefella and Voile both have simple, cheap tele bindings that I would prefer. I dunno, just personal preference, if you like the 01 stick with that. Wish I'd known because I just tossed a pair in the garbage a few weeks ago. I don't tele much anymore so I should probably shut up. Good luck.

It is definitely personal preference. I have skied pretty much then all out there and I like the way the BD bindings make the boot flex more evenly. I find (for me) that the bindings with side mounted springs have more of a hinged feel vs the underfoot routing. I’ve not had a BD binding fail in a way that can’t be easily fixed either. I’m still skiing on a pair of O1s that are easily 15 years old and are still holding strong.

I don't think I've ever seen a pair of 01's without pivot slop.
