Heading out to Highlands, for probably my last time this season.

Does Maroon Creek road get all backed up late in the day!

Roundabout has been very smooth during rush hour lately, I think the project has made a lot of people scared to drive into town. Plus it's really starting to feel like off season.

^^ yes, usually right around 4 with school traffic and now exacerbated by the roundabout work

Hanle and I will be charging hard the next two days. We’ll swing by the Shadow Mountain Deck at 11:00 both days. Let’s take some laps!

Aspen Mt. really went off yesterday!
The wind had blown flat lots of the terrain. There was a tiny amount of dust.
Hopefully today pops early, because tomorrow’s going to be Gnarly.

I can barely walk, I’m so sore.

We need to at least take a run this season. Sometime in the next two weeks, when you have a window that looks good, hit me up!

    Snowmass was off the hook!

10-12” of wet, kinda heavy off High Alpine. Showcase was as good as it gets. Really just what the doctor ordered to cover up the hard stuff.

Getting cold tonight, should suck some of the moisture. Tomorrow will be good both places.

Any info on Ajax today? More fun terrain there but looks like this could be one of those storms that hit snowmass harder. I don’t trust the Ajax stake with how much more wind it gets

I’ll be out for a few hours as well first thing tomorrow morning

Wife got out at 1. Skied face, under 6 and S1. She said it all skied like a decent 6-7” storm. Untracked was soft enough, anything with tracks quickly exposed the firm layer underneath. I feel like it was better than she expected and there’s been 2-3” more since

Well shit that was the best skiing I’ve had all season. Hanging valley was absurdly deep and empty

Yesterday on Aspen was my best or second best day of the year. Blower, 2' on the east aspects.
It was fun too, as 95% of the people on the hill could ski well, so it was like watching a ski movie each time you looked around.

Had to work wednesday, but i bet it was also good sticking. Winter isn't over just yet.

    Today was excellent.
Based on the weekend forecast, I’d probably get after it, sooner than later.
    The Buckoff, could be brutal.
