We were gonna go WROD hunting this Saturday. But my son called it. He's a bit tired from this week, and we did have a total of maybe 12 hours of road time to get to the snow right now. Gonna stay local and surf and mountain bike. But I'm itching for lapping a few groomers and crisp air. Tho not bummed about not organizing, packing and driving. Maybe by our next window, we can significantly cut that drive time.

Same boat. Was considering the drive down to Mammoth but that much time behind the wheel and gas prices where they are didn't add up. At least there is a decent WNW bump in the water.

First time in a decade I didn't ski in Nov, hopefully an anomaly and not the new norm.

    Well, Ride or Die!

Day something something for me. It’s gross. But hey, I guess I got nothing better to do. 9 mins from the house and I’m on the lift. Nobody bugs me up here. Except now there’s LTE. Ugh.

It doesn't stand for anything, it's a Scandinavian word that means "sliver of fun amongst a bullshit crapfest."

it's often used to refer to golf in their country.

To: all the stokeless beaters in this thread.

I went skiing at Trollhaugen yesterday. These 11-12 y/o Midwest kids ducked a rope and built a little 1 foot kicker. Then they blasted right through the leaves and dirt and launched it.

These kids have it figured out. Get off your couch and go skiing with your friends.

Here in the Land of the Blue Lake we currently have a TPOD/BHOD combo open at Boreal and a BHOD open at FSV.
I have not visited either, opting instead to hike 45-minutes to ski patches of leftover October snow around the area; effectively I have been skiing PODs...

A rare WROD experience in the PNW. Skiing was pretty nice with a few new on top of the WROD.

Hoping the local ski area will open their ribbon of death by Saturday, it's looking grim at Snowbasin right now.
