Tell Santa what you want for Christmas
Retailers everywhere have already started decking their halls with sparkly reds and greens, which can only mean one thing. Yes, it's that time of year again boys and girls! The festivus of consumption! Some have their gear closet dialed just right. Others are content with the beater gear that's stood up to years of abuse. But what is Santa to do with the dirtbag who has eyes only for a $400 binding, a $20 bottle of schnapps and nothing else? What have they not thought of? That which he or she doesn't even know they need?
Here's the game:

2. An atypical item that significantly enhanced your avg ski/bike day or life experience.

Great thread! Here’s my $0.02: first aid or emergency response training. WFR courses are likely over $150, but if you look around in your area you may find something useful within that budget.
