    Hi, this is a reminder that hackers have been getting into accounts with stsle old passwords and causing mayhem scamming people in gear swap.

    Update your passwords, be wary in gear swap, report suspect activity!

    PS The Apocalypse is a serious line that has, like many, been getting treated more casually. A fall pretty much anywhere will have severe consequences if not arrested immediately. Very sad news.

    Jeeezus, the crowds for the Gelande'quaffe have really fallen off.
    Wtf is going on here?

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I personally wish they'd leave corbet's alone and stop trying to exploit the inbounds gnar.
    K&Q and Natty select are nothing more than marketing department schemes.
    One keeps the right people off of great terrain for no good reason and the other entices the wrong people into tough terrain to be able to say they did it.
    Using the cooler as a venue for a few jibby hits is lame imo.
    Hucking the lip into 24" of pow is old news for the chidrenz.
    Launching it onto windpack will make you a real King.
    And stomp the landing; no backseat tail testers.
    Bill O'Connor - here's to that old Marine, Cheers!...We likely worked right beside each other, TC. He was so cool and his wife was so bossy.
    The Sojourner Pub - I remember seeing some amazingly casual drug transactions happen in the bathroom down there. Taking a whiz while the dudes snort lines on the sink countertop. Cutting up QPs and cashing out after a work shift. Heady days those!
    I have been trying to take a rest day off for a few weeks now. Each time I can't stay home past 9. Even when it's -15.
    I love trying to figure out exactly where UaN's photos are being taken. I'm usually off by a few miles though. Which fucks with my head...
    Beautiful shot, as usual.
    I know it's not, but it kinda looks photoshopped for some reason. Like the skier was added in there or something. Did you lighten or darken something later??? The skier orange jacket looks really lit up?
    Wow... that's a compliment.
    An old friend (who is a very modest person) and I joke whenever I take a photo of him doing the stuff we do that it's for the cover of "Rich F*ck Magazine".
    I like that! I usually make them deliberately a little hard to pinpoint — like even if you know you may not totally be sure...
    Thanks!
    You can see 2 pics in the sequence here.
    It's just a bright jacket my friend wears. It would be an impressive amount of work to add a skier to that scene + tracks + snow spray!
    That was a tough scene to shoot given the bright background and shaded foreground of the aspect we were skiing. A remote flash would have been ideal but I shoot on the run and work with what I've got. ♂️
    Fossil isn't in the background of any of those pics! You're close... but it's another drainage and deeper in.
    Getting tougher to find softer untracked stuff, so we get what we get.
    Here's an image with Fossil visible.
    (Fossil itself is a cool ski; that mountain always caught my attention from the top of the tram and felt like a privilege to ski the first time... and every time after.)
    Housetop mountain in that photo then?
    My local topo knowledge is based waaaay more on summer exploits than winter ones. Landmark peaks and aspect are half the battle but the Tetons can look deceptively like each other from many angles.
    Extended Suit family gathering. Somehow beer die has become the game of choice so I smooved out a pad in the backyard and fired up the tractor's work lights so we could hold a tournament.
    I’m terrible at this game but it’s a fun exercise. So I’ll guess somewhere up Death Canyon, looking at Mount Meek.
    Reminds me UAN shouldn't be the only one posting pics! Here's a few from a time long long ago (January) when soft snow was readily available
    the stance looks like that of someone who's spent a lot of time bent over a dentist's chair.
