Thanks! I can't recall exactly but that site looks familiar. I feel like I bought the DVD directly from him — vaguely remember it was a Canadian site and he is Canadian/was living in Canada.

Do I want to spend ~$29 on it? Hmm...

Realized the price was in loonies..... ordered.

    I just left a 3bed/2.5 bath 2 car garage condo in Driggs. Locals/long term/workforce rate was $1800.

Rent is crazy for sure. We are trying to help locals (I was a poor, struggling Jackson local myself for most of the 1980's) while also making a bit of money on our investment. We bought the condo for our own ski trips (we live elsewhere in WY) and help pay for it with short term rentals when we aren't using it. But with housing so tight over there it seems more responsible to rent to locals and we can get a hotel when we ski over there. I've seen a similar condo advertised at $2800/month, which seems crazy high to me.

I'm sure you'll give a solid deal to someone. Sounds crazy down there. Same thing in Bozeman. And many other places.

I'm reading the billionaire wilderness now. All about Jackson mainly. Insane.

In the last 15/20 yrs, the amount of trusts and foundations has skyrocketed.

Here's the rub. The affordable housing trust etc has gone up, a few hundred thousand.

The fucking art and land conservation (billionaires preserving land in perpetuity for tax reasons) has gone up by BILLIONS from almost nothing.

They could give 2 fucks about anyone normal class. The Mexicans that serve them live 3 families to a trailer while they don't even live in their 30M$ palace.

As a ski MTN, Jackson is as legit as it gets. Kinda seems like the town is the YC without gates.

    Here's a trailer.

    Wish I could find it!
I think I might still have my copy

    I like Raphael Williams.
I’ve only seen him for minor injuries so I haven’t done a surgery with him but he has done more with my husband’s injuries and seems good and a nice guy too

I saw Raphael when I shattered my wrist in Jackson a few years ago. He didn’t do any surgery for me, but was a great guy, had a bunch of signed ski posters on his office wall from pros he’d fixed up, and told me I could ski the next day as long as I didn’t fall.

Thanks babybear and Skeeze. I made an appointment with Raphael. I need a plate and some screws to hold my acromion (end of the scapula) together. Hopefully he's good to do it.

Well, shit. Looks like Nora’s is done on 10/15.

I’m gonna eat huevos around 6:30am a few x before they close if any of you want to raise a coffee. Happy for the family . Good memories. I used to sit at that breakfast bar 2-3 times a week, drink bad coffee and have huevos. The many conversations I had there with several well known, opinionated characters will always stick in my mind. I probably learned more about this valley there than I care to know.

Give me a ring or text if you want to go. My schedule is fairly early weekdays so I’m a bit limited on time. Weekends

Nice to see some snow on the peaks! Saturday Oct 15, the Koko's would like to host you for a fire and asado offering to Ullr. At our house just up the street from the Aspens. Fire starts at 4pm, meat starts when the coals are ready. All mags welcome, SO's close to required, kids welcome too though after dark all bets off.

Bring meat, veggies or anything else you want to cook on open coals. We'll put up some elk sirloin, some beer and whisky and see what else we can conjure up from EC Ullr Fests past.

Give a holler here if you can come and what you can offer up. Pm me for addy.
