    Thanks! At $220 it seems like going mc or ikon is the way to go.

    yeah, the way I look at it if I get MC, 2x ghee, 3 x jhmr, 2x bird, 2x alta and it's $58 a day, cheaper every resort after that...

    Absolutely! I'm in Teton Valley, so my fiancé and I usually do a season pass at Targhee + MC 3x Jackson, 2 days at Big Sky, 2 Days at Sun Valley. Anything else is a nice bonus!

    You will not have a problem finding someone to ski with! Did you get a job with Pocatello FD? Also pass price goes up May 1 i believe.

    Seems like many might be over skiing. It’s still wintry out there.

    Spent a couple days touring in Montana… here are two pics from today in the Tetons:

    might have been the best mid-april pow cycle I've ever experienced in the lower 48... last of the cold pow? seems like more snow on the way but doubt it will be as cold/wintry.

    22-23 spring pass prices: { last year }

    $2110 RPK pass - unlimited plus ikon base { $1929 }

    $1710 Grand pass - unlimited { $1529 }

    $1285 Grand bypass unlimited except w/blackout dates ( 12/26-12/31, 1/14,15, 2/18/19 ) { $1229 }

    $ 855 Mid week ( w/blackout only ) { $999 }

    $ 940 10 day plus

    $ 755 10 day plus bypass

    Engineering the pass prices is getting kinda fucked up...

    $1,710. Not far from the good old days. Lol.
    Not bad if you rack up the ski bum days.
    $17 a day?

    Charging extra for I can’t ski pass is interesting.
    I guess ikon didn’t like the restrictions jhmr and aspen added.

    Good to see the midweek warrior pass.

    Ikon is a thousand now. If you want jh. For five or seven days only.

    I think they have made the bypass more attractive compared to last year? $425 spread is kinda tempting. Last year I think it may have been only $250 or something

    Oof the kids passes went up $200 as well. Looks like they are giving locals two 4 or 5 day windows to get the normal $299 price, whew

    Definitely not my defintion of progress.
    The first year of ikon was a complete clusterfuck, the second year, due to complaints, they gave us one without increasing the full pass price iirc.
    The third year, they started charging ikon holders extra to ski JH and locals could add it on for cheap.. Now the add on has gone up a good bite too.

    Full passes historically went up about 20-40 bucks per season. Very tiny increments.

    Now their engineering is designed to keep the crowds at bay.
    Which I don't have a problem with.
    It's the changing trend of big annual jumps that blows.

    Notice there's no weekend warrior pass?

    If you are local and can only ski weekends, you'll be buying a Grand pass;
    without the blackout dates, you're paying twice what the weekday wrangler costs.
    This targets local working folks the most and is easily the full tilt reaming.

    Last year's Christmas holiday blackout was 8 days, this season it's six. Mo bettah.
    I got shafted on that last season, said I wouldn't do it again. Fuck me livin'.

    Cheaper to not ski weekends, that seems to be the draw.
    Some seasons it only seems to snow from friday thru sunday, funny how that works out.

    The highest full pass was in 08-09 at $1600. The next season after the crash, they dropped it 25% to $1200.
    We were stoked and jobless. Gubmint ski team, FTW.
