If you get bored you can go on Gaia, turn on "public tracks" and scroll over to their base area, their guides have left GPS tracks all over the place of their flight patterns and ski terrain. Was a pretty hilarious find when I stumbled onto it.

Getting pretty tired of the high pressure. Nothing notable on the horizon.

I've had some good days in the past month, but come on snow!

In New England we make it snow by washing the vehicle, taking off snow tires and buying a fat bike.

hard to wash the car when it’s in the teens

I think the key to the vill over the last couple weeks has been high speed groomers for the first couple hours before it warms and the gapes arrive. it’s almost as good as skiing pow. I’m sure the first hour and a half midweek has been pretty dang good

We must be in extended high pressure if there are 2 pages of discussion about skiers' poles in pics rather than the fact that these are pics of skiers skiing top quality snow during that extended high pressure!!

    Hah.... I've got a big crew! ;-)

On a serious note: I think we're both enough to remember plenty of shitty collapsible-pole mechanisms that would get stuck (*cough* Life-Link *cough*). For years I always went with adjustable poles which I would NEVER adjust, only to wake up one day a couple years ago after decades and ditch them all.

I skied 6,000+ feet of terrible, "athletic" snow the other day... that was questionable. :-D

I gotta put in a plug for Overview Coffee. I know better than to link a facebook page, so this is copied from it:

Our tiny cafe is open! Serving expertly crafted espresso drinks, drip coffee, cocoa, chai and tea, every day 8am—2pm located on the walkway between The Mangy Moose and TVS.
Bring your own cup & save $0.50
Here's the website that doesn't talk about the tiny cafe: Overview Coffee.

Alex Yoder's a good guy. The coffee is delicious.

I washed my car the other day …..and still nuthin’ in the forecast.

If a couple people start booking warm weather get aways this month and/or March then it could help bring the snow.

I also asked the lifty at Sublette if he could move the chimes to where we can bang them so we can bring the snow. He said he keeps moving them closer to the loading zone but his boss keeps moving them further away. That guy is screwing us 🤣

The Sonoran Desert has been awesome the last two months. I've been going south for work since November and I strangely hardly even miss skiing or the cold.

Also, you JXN skiers are spoiled! Go get some chalk, bumps and shit fucked snow skiing, we do that down here almost all season long!
