Oof, we are all hurting… lotsa dirt showing through the snow in my hood.

There’s a silver lining in everything though: maybe everybody forgets how good it can be in the Tetons and visits I70 ski areas for a few seasons because they get more snow

the crowds were much better this year. The mtn limited the # of tickets sold daily and it really seemed to make a difference vs the silliness of the previous season.

Sorry you got skunked on your trip here this year, but come back this summer for some biking!

The only thing missing from "the worst bowl conditions ever" today was visibility...there was some.

Final hoorah for me this weekend. Going to be away for a wedding closing weekend.

These high temperature differential days should have the mornings… sporty.

Been a decent corn cycle of late. Yesterday the snow pack seemed a little punchier than the super solid days earlier in the week, but that might have been a function of different elevation/zone as well. Taylor was super solid 3 days ago.

I haven't experienced punchy conditions (yet!), but that is probably more luck than anything else.

I thought things might not pan out Saturday given the temps/clouds/wind + reports of horrendous conditions in Rendezvous Bowl Friday, Somehow things turned out just right.

Wind was good to us at the Village. Excellent conditions all day in favored areas in Rock Springs and off Teton lift. Union pass lift is closed, but it is possible to ski almost all the way back from the hobacks to tram base.

Extensive poaching of closed areas occurred today.

Ya we went out yesterday at 2pm to old reliable Edelweiss for a couple of laps, saw the shitshow heading home to teton valley as we slid east to a dinner party. Any deposition zone stayed soft and cool this morning, but the sun was strong by 1pm as we exited. Getting boney and shrubby on the exits.

Can confirm the sun was strong, but shady areas stayed surprisingly cool even with warm air temps. Late afternoon there was still cold (but warming) pow on smooth, supportable surfaces. I was pleasantly surprised. Also, no glopping on the way up (an even better surprise!).
