Ya still cold carvable pow/ graupel in the gullies. Ski crampons crucial where the wind howled.

The house I've been caretaking for has finally sold, so I am in search of a place to live. I've lived in Jackson for the past 3 years working as one of the WYDOT avalanche forecasters and being a caretaker. If anyone has any leads for anything it would be greatly appreciated.

So if you've take a dump at the Broulim's in Driggs in the last two years, there's a pretty good chance there's video evidence out there: Cameras in Broulim's restrooms lead to voyeurism charges for Driggs employee

I hope it’s not the shopping cart wrangler that’s always wearing a full length duster and cowboy hat. I like that guy.

Speaking of dumps... the one from earlier this week continues to provide some cold snow (I've been shocked, considering the temps/sun/time of year):

Cracked a few in the empty lot post-ski ... everyone is out-of-town or over it — or both!

Nah, not the pseudo cowboy. I actually have a very specific rant about the Broulim's shopping cart return situation and staffing, but that's sort of irrelevant in light of their current drama.

Buck is cowboy cart wrangler. Not a peeping Tom as far as I’m aware.

And in more fun news - the 'ghee was pretty darn good this afternoon. Last 'Spring' Day of the regular season me thinks. Closing day could be a bit 'sporty' if temps drop much

No! Perfect corn on Taylor east face around 1030-1100. No pics because it didn't really happen. Out track is pretty sporty, especially near the spring.

Is that Lucky dog in the foreground?

@upallnight coffee table book or calendar or a pop up book would be fun.

Can anyone tell me what window rate is at jhmr? Assuming it's variable but what is average? I get 50% off with snowbasin pass next year ($1000 snowbasin pass) and was wondering if it's worth it to add on a mountain collective or Ikon or just pay the 50% off if I were to go like 5 days or less.

Depends on when you go and how early you make your reservations. $200ish was the norm this season, with the exception of early and end of season which got down into the $150 range. Mountain Collective is a great option as you can make Jackson your "home" resort, so you get 3 days there, 2 days at the Ghee, and if you go anywhere else it pays for itself?
