Yes Yes and YES!!!! to all three of your points. Thanks for all the great suggestions. The stoke is high, the avy danger is increasing, we have 3-4 days at the Ghee and I am psyched. Citizen 33 has the best ski bum hours ever.

it’s absolutely nuking at Targhee. dunno the placement of their stick of truth cam but it’s gone from about 10.25 to 12.75 in less than an hour. true refillz!!!

through an act of god, my GF was going to ski at the vill then go over to Alta, but forgot her snow pants so decided to head right over to Alta and stop at her parents house to grab an old pair. She sent my a vid from the lift, it was deeep

Agreed, rolled up after work obligations that I couldn't get out of this am - Damn Good and if you knew where to go - it was bottomless and still untouched, skied til Last Chair. Winter is here at last....

Targhee got 18” since lifts closed yesterday with 10” coming between 5-8 this AM. True star wars driving on the road going up early this morning. That makes 24” in 72hrs and another foot in the forecast! Sounds like Sac for the weekend if the forecast is true.

never made it out last w/e bc we had been traveling and I got a cold dagnabit. luckily it was just a common cold and not covid (my first time needing to test since all this happened- but was impressed with how easy it was)
anyhoo- watch for the mr. babybears out on the hill most days and I work Tues- Fri's so am out on the hill w/e's and Mondays. I'm trying to wrangle a Wed- Sat work schedule with Sun- Tues off, but we shall see

Inbound to the Tetons through Tuesday, likely turning at the village mon/Tue.

This storm is a monster… skied a couple hours at home yesterday with over the shoulder blower and have been driving in this damn storm since then. 84 shutdown for a few hours on the OR/ID border.

All of this for waffles up top and there’s no way to get up there…

Will do if I see you. I'm in a purple jacket with black pants and grey helmet. Dalbello boots and either Volkl Mantras or Coombacks... Depending on the depth. Looks like they are getting Sacajawea set up for the weekend. (Grooming is happening over there.)
