Gave the Patagonia smoked mackeral in oil a chance after skiing this weekend. That's a no from me.

Y'all sound like some special flowers, IME come home a bit fucked up from the craft brew, instead of cooking open a tin of sardines, dump it over a cup of rice from the freezer nuked for a few min and i'm eating in 5 min

Speaking of Grandpa - This was his… some Greek Brandy. I forgot I had it stashed in the back of the liquor cabinet. According to my half-ass-internet-research, it was imported sometime between 1944 and 1960…
I guess I need a reason to crack it open…

Reminds me, I still have those damn smoked oysters to deal with. Maybe I’ll wait until they expire.
Do canned smoked oysters ever expire?

Not sure why this picture is coming in upside down, but I think I won this thread here.

I don’t want the job shoving extra food in a funnel into a wild boar.
That’s mental.
Well yes. Fish cock.
How many cocks are in one tin?
I’m expecting fish cock to taste salty
PS. The last line of the label says does not contain cock. You were cheated.. . .

Wild boar pate was good! Rillettes de sardine, meh. Better options are out there.

Yeah, I actually had it a few days ago. Literally the perfect backpacking food - 600 calories, great balance between fat and protein and carbs. Hard to describe what it's like - pretty much dense, moist, fishy, bread. That sounds awful, but I like it enough that I will certainly be buying more when I eat through the cans I have

Big fan of Jose Gourmet. Bigger fan of Barnacle's Bullwhip hot sauce.

^^ Kelp in a hot sauce? Not going to knock it before I try it, but it does sound strange.
