Day 80: Grand Targhee (Targhee pass)
I actually skied yesterday but was racing to leave ahead of some possible snow over Teton Pass overnight...I ended up driving to Rock Springs yesterday afternoon.
It was bittersweet to head up for my last day at GT this year. We had many great ski days and no bad ones.
It was bluebird
Had to get one last pic of Le Tits...
As I noted, I drove to Rock Springs, WY after skiing and then left there at 4am to stay ahead of the weather. I was marginally successful. Hit some rain and snow squalls somewhere west of Laramie but by the time I got to Sherman Summit (highest point on I-80) the weather was fine and the sun was up.
Writing this from Lincoln, NE where it's 68* and sunny. Tomorrow's target is just east of Cleveland and a night of catching up with an Army friend that I haven't seen since 1998.

Conditions today at Stratton:
JK, it pissed rain all morning. Goniff sent me that shot from the 'ghee (he extended his stay). So sad I had to leave.
Thinking Sunapee tomorrow and Sunday. I'll be on the lookout for you powbumps (and savemeasammy).
