And two aerialists from the upper Mitten? What are the odds of that.

This USFST has some serious Great Lakes chops.

Breezy Johnson withdraws as a result of her crash in Cortina. That really sucks for her.

And these new Team USA Olympic duds with a strong waist drawstring game:

It's feeling pretty 1992 right about now.

Rocking that CB back in the day gave you instant street cred circa 1982. Mine was the navy body with red trim. Goto was a Powderhorn down with bigass Velcro wrist closure with stretch pants.

I'm pretty sure CB made that jacket, and several variations thereof, for a decade plus.

I had it in bright electric blue with a neon pink trim, in both the short and longer anorak style versions. 1990 me was pimp shit on the hill.

I didn't have that, but remember having a similar one from Land's End, although it was fleece lined. I gave it to my dad at some point and I swear he was wearing it till a few years ago.

Story checks out. My sister sent me a pic of our dad wearing the same coat years after CB stopped making it when we saw that JCrew was bringing it back.

His was Navy with red trim btw.

It's feeling pretty 1992 right about now.
    1983-84
All the cool guys at my very rich preppy school ( Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville) in 7th grade had versions of these so when my dad moved to Utah, I had to have one too.
Learned to ski @ Snowbird in this exact jacket while still attending that school in spring of 84.

Took a trail map back to show to my buddy who went out west skiing all the time I still remember his response: "pssht, really? where are the back bowls?" ( obv he was a Vail guy)

Ditched it pretty quick once we moved to Utah later that year...

My dad rocked a red and blue one piece ellesse for a few years though that he was set up with at Sport Stalker on the Tram Deck at the time

Interesting article about the best woman freeskier in the world right now, and her decision at age 15 to turn in her US passport and represent China.
