Slatan skis broke the Fisher ski monopoly in ski jumping. One guy had a pair of Slatan’s. We were just talking about Fisher being the only long jumping ski for every Olympics we could remember.

Fisher still seems to maintain it in the other Nordic events from what I’ve seen so far.

That Canadian chick in mixed doubles curling last night could yell at me all she wanted.

Is the Downhill happening tonight or is the wind through that insane canyon gonna fuck it up again?

    Well that’s not very nice.

We do know if anyone here would have a blind spot to the CCP’s bullshit here it would likely be you, as shown throughout many threads due to friends and family Chinese connections; which is totally understandable.

The Olympics are going on. The Chinese organizers are treating athletes who test positive like they treat their own citizens with low social credit. This is current events, unlike your banking non sequitur. If pointing that out makes us righteous, then so be it. But you may also want to take it up with the Belgian skeleton athlete who’s video from inside one such quarters went viral giving rise to the story while you’re throwing stones.
I still call it The Jake.

Then went on to the hot pink and yellow Atomic 533ce like the rest of the bump euros till the Force9s came out the next year which were hands down, revolutionary. Those Atomics, which I still have in storage somewhere, mounted with Tyrolia Free-Flexes, weighed about 75 pounds compared to the Sollys.

And just to say it again, after a day of jabbering about it with my ski buddies, yes, Page got jobbed today.
You fuckers are making me feel old. My best bump specific ski was the Rossi 4M Kevlar. After that I went 207 K2 Extreme and figured out how to steer them at high speeds in moguls. Thanks Plake!!! Once those were toast I went to a 210 PRE Slalom which I rode for many years due to the metal layer in the top sheet. Those things still have camber. After that I went to a snowboard, and it was "downhill" for years until I got my "current" Head Monster's with the Snake Skin top sheet.

You guys it is so friggin cold and windy up here.

Planning on winning this on skiing, but I wouldn't mind a fat push of tailwind through the canyon.

The entire snow scene is just bullshit! All fake snow with brown surroundings. Watching big air in the city next to giant power plant stacks!

    This is no Lillehammer!

It all feels so manufactured. Probably a perfect example of why China can not be in charge of anything.
Dystopian was a great description from a previous post.

Snow sounds so weird. All man-made but the cold dry air basically facets it. It will be nice when they're in Cortina next time around

It's great snow to race on. Little slappy on the landings, but a lot better than fighting with ruts.
