People were kick turning up it with decent success and didn't see any evidence it had properly slid. People completely tracked out the steeper stuff over by the Golden Gate trail area by end of day too with no sign of instability.

Saw some tiny sluffs on southern aspects >45° and by the mid afternoon was seeing rollerballs on >30-35°, but no slab movement anywhere that I could see.

We went up on Saturday and hoped to ski the Beehive, but pervasive chickenhead blue ice kept us away.

Heh. I barely squeaked over before the westbound chain requirement popped up, now I'm stuck over here until they reopen it. Guaranteed it was a trucker trying to run without chains. A few dickheads make all truckers look bad.

Fitness laps on skyline at Stevens were good today, looks like the window will still be open tomorrow.

WSP needs to impound their rigs and suspend their licenses if they are caught blocking the highway at least raise the fine to the point where it will hurt, the shit I see the truck drivers do when it’s snowing or any adverse weather is nuts

Pretty good at the golf course tonight, lotsa snow coming down and stacking up above 2900'. Should be good in the morning if it doesn't warm up overnight.

Awesome early season stoke! A bummer to see the window closing throughout the current forecast.

Sorry to steer away from the amazing stoke, but since the pineapple is coming In hard, might as well bring up something else that is frustrating.

A buddy pointed the new carpool parking rules for Stevens Pass for weekends and holidays. Apparently, there is away to be worse than Crystal’s parking policy.

Beating a dead horse: we need more ski areas in the PNW.
