What are you doing in Wenatchee? Our roads aren’t too bad.

I liked Wenatchee. Temps were great yesterday. Never knew about the orchards. Place seemed livable. Was going to stop for dinner in levanworth. Had no idea, kept on going. Traffic was getting on my nerves. Pulled off and camped at lake wenatchee.stopped at Stevens than walked in to tunnel creek and looked at accident site. Now killing time in some restaurant hoping for my covid test results. Yea Wenatchee is probably good for 15 more years.

If you want to feel sad go to https://mtcams.net/ and watch the Mt Rainier timelapse from Crystal Mountain over the past week.

Because people can't drive.

Early season storm catches suckas by surprise.
Let it be a reminder to stock your vehicles with the usual winter supplies etc.

It’s pretty much poor driving, the truckers are getting worse every day everyone from the westside thinks everybody else is the problem not them, I’m just thankful that I moved to the eastside of the mountains don’t have to deal with the predictable cluster fuck between 45 and 52 every time it snows a few inches but it does help regulate the lift lines some days

Not enough days. I remember a lot of days last year driving over the pass early thinking "pass is for sure gonna close soon"... and then watch another 1000 people sidestep up the hill above me at Armstrong.
Just got some new Fallken at3ws put on the car. I apologize in advance.

Drove over the high 2, west to east last night.
3-4 inches of snow on the road. Multiple vehicles in the ditch, passed a semi jack knifed and stuck blocking half the road. Finally saw two plows heading up from the east side...

Heads up from the USFS:
Glacier Creek Road #39 is washed out and impassable to vehicles at mile 3.7. The road will not be repaired this winter. Heliotrope Ridge Trailhead is at mile 8.3.
Deadhorse Road #37 is currently open to the snowline at mile 9.3, but there was major erosion at mile 3.1 and the road may have to be closed at this location. Skyline Divide Trail is at mile 12.6.

Anyone get up to Muir today? Was thinking about doing a lap tomorrow but with the rising temps I’m not so sure.

Didn't make it all the way to Muir, pitched back down at McClure Rock.
Snow was a nice quality and just enough coverage that you didn't need to be overtly concerned with it being too sharky.
Felt like Disneyland with the number of people though. The pent up demand was almost palpable.
