I asked a patroller yesterday to confirm a rumor I heard, Ryan Mather was neither OB or in a closed area. Legally inbounds on open terrain

Meadows skied amazingly today, especially for a Sunday. There was fresh to be found and crowds were mellow. We brought some mirth and whimsy ourselves.

Went for an afternoon tour in search of some meadow skipping in the boonies. The snowpack was thin, but the cream cheese kept me out of the dirt and funk.

Nothing like an extra 20# per foot to keep the heartrate up.

While I didn't run into anyone else, the skin track was not lonely. Creatures great and small were out and about. I ran into frogs, a fox, owls, fishers, and one clueless slowpoke doing his best to posthole the skin track...

I met another TGR guy at the Tepe and Tacos downhill longboarding race!

He was saying how it's taken him 7 tries to finally make a 130-flex roller skate boot:

I can’t tell if this is a joke, or serious, but either way that rollerblade setup is the best kind of janky.

I love fruitbooting but no way in hell would I want a skate as stiff as my ski boots. That braking system looks, uh... interesting. Jerry braking system aside, downhilling on blades isn't for the faint of heart.

That dude was charging. He said that if he is running down the hill it is more control than tucking and bombing straight

I’ve only been here for about 5 seasons, but unfortunately, it seems that Heather Canyon claims a life or two, sometimes more a year. One way or another Ullr needs his sacrifices.

Making my way down to Bachelor for some "spring" skiing, have half a mind to make it a dual sport trip. What's the coverage like back near town? Enough to make the bike worthwhile?

Mt bike trails are in good condition near town. But the skiing is sadly not "Spring" like. You will have to put up with mid-winter like conditions. Ullr is not apologizing either.
