    You too J.
Despite less-than-epic snowfall overnight, viz on east side looks reasonable and improving.
Big question right now - 105 Stormriders or Billy Goats?

I am here to report that the first two hours of the day in upper bowl were the best two hours of powder snow I’ve ever skied at ski bowl.

Some pretty close to phenomenal turns were had. Only dampened by a tender right knee. But it held up for a few hours.

Managed to hit Outback just as the proverbial rope was dropped. Was a powder frenzy to be sure.

Lots of snow was found in the trees skiers left off Outback Express. Low angle pow through Aussie Alley was schralped.

When I left at noon there was a conga line of cars lined up for West Village. I took Jonesy's advice and got up there before the 7:30am road closure. I guess everyone just ignored the road closure, or most likely Jonesy put up a roadblock on the wrong road.

Looks delicious Toadman, easy on the knee. I put the sign in my driveway to keep relatives at bay for NYE. Hoodoo.

Agreed. No rime and even though the Snow Booking Hotline slightly screwed up my order by delivering a smaller portion, they at least did not forget to add the cold smoke pow to my order.

Right up there with best day ever on Mt Hood. Fairly busy at TDH but most groups were doing a single lap. Stable, no wind, bottomless

I love hearing that. I am old, and have given up staking that kind of claim as I have been blessed over the years with many premier days...but sure do love hearing the stoke of others!

Sorry to throw washington into this oregon thread...but alpental was crazy today.

Only thing that would’ve made today better is some of that sustained fall-line terrain

Is he on skis or a board? Shoulder alignment sez skis (or monoski?), but I know you don’t hang much with two plankers
