No idea how this morning's snow compared to yesterday. But it was very light and airy this morning.

    Someone has to be first.

Twas knee deep and face shots on the decent, and knee deep on the ascent. Glad it wasn't me setting the bootpack.

In this cycle, you would likely shuffle 10k just to settle for a safe shoulder, however. If you aren't real savvy in bc travel and snow safety then for sure just go to the resort or enjoy one of our little bumps close by. Mt Hood and other points north have much better winter access if you want more variety.

Glad you hit tumalo yesterday. We probably passed one another. Great conditions for sure!
I took it for what it was and went to Bachelor. Best trees ever. Broken top looks good. I can do big days but they really have to be motivating. With questionable visibility and avy conditions taking it easy in the resort was really good. Too bad about access in the area, there's lots of potential. Is there no entrepreneur with a sled shuttling skiers?

Yup, saw some guys stopped in bottom of compression about 1100. They seemed to be rethinking their objectives.

Another great day of beyond-blower pow.

Anytime somebody asks me “Do you think they’ll open cascade today?”, I always say yes and it’s a good idea to get in line NOW

For the first time I hiked the cone as the last run of the day on Wed to see what the hype was all about… I much prefer god’s wall - less hiking and better descent. But I do luv Bachelor for a long uninterrupted runs - unlike Meadows I can definitely feel my legs with each run. Anyone here wanna hit Bachelor before the season ends?
