It's easy boar2m. Tip & Rip. That's a great buy on the Head Chip 71. Stockli has a certain feel to them and are very durable. But like they say, It's the Indian not the Arrow.

Man, skiing at Hood is not how I remember it growing up.

$12 for a fucking locker rental? Traffic everywhere, parking lots full by 8-830? They are really making the extra hour to Hoodoo hard to not justify.

On the other hand, the weather was great, the vertical adjustment on the Buttercup carpet is a backsaver when skiing with the little ones and the crowds weren't to bad once ski school stopped their takeover of the line. 40 degrees and sunny in Jan? Great for skiing with the kids.

I’d like to hear TBS’s snowboard jokes but he’s always out of breath when he finally catches up to us at the lift
Let me lock in the system at Warp 2
Push it on into systematic overdrive

The grass isn’t all that much greener at le ‘Doo
Weekend Parking is back to the access road by 0900
Lines for Manzi & Green are back to the lodge by 1100

Thursdays are a drunken shitshow by 2pm
And the Gaper quotient is quite high - see crash report from last Sunday

Tbs should try Snowboarding since he makes jokes about it. I would be up for the challenge if he is.

"As an added bonus, if you are a Sahale pass holder we will have the Stadium chair available at 8 AM for an early load and make Shooting Star available to run laps."
Do the Sahale folks get an email the day before when they do this?

Memba back in the day when you could drive easily to Mt Hood then spend 30-40 minutes in the lines. Now the lines are less than 7-8 minutes even when packed. Most HSQ can empty a 500 skier maze in less than 10-15 minutes

Went on a short early afternoon hike last Sunday. I didn't think you could do this in these conditions from pocket creek snow park up to elk... The creek crossing were tough but I didn't live up to my new name. Snow was soft. Sorry if someone's stash got exposed(there's a north facing one across the hwy, maybe i'll try that sometime later this season).

I ready to begin my venture into touring. I've done the obvious google research.

Any recommendations on Avy courses and/or local guides on Mt. Hood?

    I am a Canadian goose.

In nature, strong as an eagle!
    Graceful as a swan!

    Locked in a house,
A honking mess of shit and feathers.

@0750 BACK (!) of the main lot at MHM on a crusty groomer day
looks like patrol cut a track to super bowl, but with the breeze going, I’m guessing it’s not gonna soften much to validate a hike if open

I joined the Portland e-skate meetup Facebook group and went to their weekly ride last night.

Last time I went to something like this, e-boarding was pretty new and small and everyone was riding e-skateboard kinda stuff.

Well apparantly, electric unicycles are all the rage now. And the group rides are massive.

You could imagine my surprise when I showed up to a huge bunch of middle-aged dudes all kitted-out head to toe in body armor on these ridiculously souped up e-unicycles.

Man, they were ROASTING me about my "old dinosaur" 4 wheeled Boosted Board.

Talk to your children about e-bullying!

A little person, Keegan, showed up on his badass little-person-sized electric motorcycle that he custom built for himself.

Lucky for me, he called the dogs off and let me hang with him for the night.

I'm debating if I'm going to return next week.

A one-wheel crew inevidably showed up, and apparantly, one of the biggest one-wheel events in the world happens in Eugene in June.

I like to cover wacky sporting events in my blog, and this is a good lead for a future article.

We got mid lot in HRM @8:15. I made 2 stops, 1 to pick up my son and 1 for his friend, I left at 4:58...

It was a day to definitely not fall on my freshly repaired shoulder. I wish I could untrain myself to not pole plant
