If it's anything like last weekend, corn should be popping on all the right aspects.

Thanks for the beta and the sponsor image!

I am moving along. See you around the Hood and from time to time at Bach, A, and The Dew. Probably wearing a plaid and maybe a red jacket. Ask for change.

Best wishes to all you Oregon kooks!

Yup those people that dropped off the CCX getback in the PM sure looked like they were reassessing certain life choices

Fun times on an isothermic block of slightly shaved ice and chicken heads with Oregon Dead and friends today. Great skiing with y’all. Tell Larry to take it easy on our buddy Bruce (aka Blind Melon Chitlin) tomorrow with the snowskating lessons.

Went for a slide when the skins decided to give out. With quick thinking I deployed my ski pole tip as an ice ax and self arrested. Saving me from some embarrassment. Wind was present. Knee recovery continues.

Damn that was one of the best days of the season at mhm. Soft snow popping everywhere, no lines, mach looney wide open groomers, slush bumps, out of azone and to the car to close it out

Ringside seat to a heinous collision at The ‘Doo today
Riding up green, watched a guy launch the lip skier’s left @ top of Headwall.
    No spotter

Sailed over a little girl and her dad, crashed hard on landing and then slid head-first into a lady below - like knocked her out of both skis, flipped her up in the air, then she came down on her head.

She’s concussed, he’s got a broken jaw and some likely legal problems.

    And it wasn’t even busy…

It was great skiing with you and jonesy and the whole crew on Friday. Hope to ski with you all again when we make it back to central Oregon. Unfortunately we didn't connect with Bruce Saturday, let him know the offer stands for whenever he's ready to give snow skating a try. We did connect with Opala Snurf Club snowskates a relatively new snowskate company based in Bend. They got Lari on one of their boards to get her feedback and she wrote a review https://www.newschoolers.com/news/re...rfer-Snowskate
Sounds like they are now available to rent at Hoodoo if anyone wants to give them a try

Charlie's. Good beer, good burger and watched the 49'ers beat the Packers. Nice.

I've got 5 covered. Some may think I have 4 covered, but that's just me. Unfortunately, working on 1. Love #2 being finally covered. I think I've got 3 covered, and that's what matters...

I have 1 and maybe 4. I really should have number 5. It would save me a lot of headaches.

    Tbs told me the rules:
    1. Must be over 55
    2. Must have skinny skis (less than 72mm waist)
    3. Must be able to carve a trench on groom with said skinny skis
    4. Must have at least one TBI due to gravity sports
    5. Must not have more than 2 fucks left to give
    6. Must exhibit a general antipathy toward authority
    Fixed the qualifications
And we are the Society Of Cranky Old Fucks, thank you very much.
Besides Jonesy and me, only one of the other people you met (Bruce/ Blind Melon Chitlin) are members.
We have a written Manifesto and Bylaws, with members in WA, ID, OR and NM.
We demand a correction in your article.

How's the olfactory system working these days? Any whiff of fresh snow on the winds of Oregon?
