When I was driving a cab, there was a guy in a Hefty bag directing traffic on Houston and Bowery that I think they are referring to.

Some Girls was a game changer for the Stones, punk was taking over, they were thought of as the old guard, on their way to dinosaur status. Yeah, no. The Glimmer Twins got busy and ended up writing some of the best stuff of their career. Shattered blew my 12 year old mind when I first heard it. When the Whip Comes Down, same thing, blown away.

Steve Jordan is filling in for Charlie. He’s a session musician with a long history of playing with the Stones and other bands.

Yep, didn’t blink at changing my plans to go when they announced Steve Jordan would be filling in well before Charlie passed. They put on a hell of a show and I got to figure this is the last chance I’ll get.

So, like, in 2034, it's going to be Keith Richard's plays the Rolling Stones tour?

Whoosh, Ben come on. It was a poke at your apostrophe use above.

Not that I disagree with the premise that he'll be the only one left.

Oh no, read Life. He kept everyone waiting for a few hours backstage in Rotterdam, among other places, while he was combing the back streets for junk, just like every other common junky.

Some girls really last quality they put out. there were a few songs after that but for albums this was it. and it was a very dry run from exile to girls. No matter. Banquet-Exile the greatest album run of anyone anywhere outside the beatles. period.

Me? shattered a hell of a song but hey.
