Started as sleet on the Bravo but changed to rain on HG, lifty was swatting chairs, but had to stop to swing and load. Very slippery, don't fall out.

Got off and started down Ripcord and stopped after 6 turns realizing that FR over fresh groom is fairly slick. Another guy skied down and stopped by me, laughed and said "we've come too far to go back" Yup.
Definitely on the low end of fun run, felt relived to to clear the headwall. Reminded me of that time on hillmans with Buckethead and Treewell Dweller when "The Shadow" was gaining on us while they transitioned.

Jester > Fling skied nice with plenty of loose sand. Stayed away from the ungroomed mounds of Lower OG as that route sucked on Friday, lower OG was especially bad with "Stick and Puck" conditions of slipping water ice pile2pile.

Over to Gatehouse to find it still wasn't running, they gave up at 1:45 and broke down the corral. This lift has been down a lot this year and as of now hasn't been cleared to load today, though spinning. Brave didn't load until 8:40+- and promptly quit for 5 minutes or so.

prepost 9:30 update: Gatehouse still not loading today and a loaded Bravo is on mechanical hold. Good times. win probably shouldn't have skimped on yearly maintenance over the years.

At least the snails pace Village chair was running so I could get home without walking

Sweet quarter inch of hard snow that got topped with 3/8" of powder overnight bob.

No wind made for some good smoking

I skied Ripcord on Saturday a combination of a turn a slide of life and repeat.
This morning I was at the lift by 8:30 same delays and stopping along the way. They need to overhauled this summer.
Lower Organgrinder was fun today a combination of high speed chicken heads and giant plies of man made. Fun was had.

Maybe a dumb question but are woods in play anywhere? Crescent ridge? Rasta? Or was it full reset?

Reset your expectations. Skiing in woods was beautiful today.

Saddleback has partnered with LL Bean for $49 lift tickets every Thursday through March. 250 tickets available each Thursday and I believe can be booked in advance.

I also believe LL Bean has a ticket deal at BMOM as well.

Flying solo yesterday made for quick laps around the bush, never more than 3 minutes in the singles line.
Fairly good grooming made for soft, though similar, turns all over the hill.

A bit o’ Simon Pearce cheese soup in a desperate attempt to appease the fickle Goddess Skadi.
