That's a sweet pic Ayo. My exploits were nowhere in that league but did get out to ride the wheel at Stratton today. That place is so different midweek.

East Coast Roll Call 21-22 We have a hot date with Skadi, Pictures at 11

    Awesome stoke.

Stratton from my memory (and could be totally different now) did not have merges and traffic well coordinated which made it a shitshow when it was busy…and a fully different for the better place when not busy.

MNIAW you are living the dream. Well played and way to go.

It may be man-made, but Sunday River has been making tons of snow recently and should be able to get a lot more terrain open in the near future.

^^^ Sunday River has always been able to pump out the Manmade. Credit where credit is due.

It’s funny, I grew up skiing/racing there and then coached there for a bit but I just realized that haven’t been skiing there in over a decade at least.

I was hoping to get out for my first ski tomorrow at SR, but due to mixed precipitation forecast followed by dropping temperatures and high winds I bailed. Note for anyone buying a day ticket there (not sure if Boyne Sugarloaf is the same) you can go online 48 hours ahead and request to cancel your ticket and you receive credit.

Still a little sketchy up there but they’re slowly opening up more terrain. Actual snow would be nice. Laurentians didn’t score so much last weekend.

We are wandering to Derry NH tonight to see The Musical Box and wondering if there is a good brewpub in the area to grab a bite before the show?

Skiing was soft, clouds were/are low. Tons of GMVS on tight turn skis.

The crew dropped the rope on Narrow Gauge today so had to check it out, one more tilling and it'll be real good.

Should have more lifts this weekend.

Have you tried listening to it while wearing white painters overalls shirtless with crepe soled chukka shoes on?

Either way, we’re gonna need a TR.

I wish they'd run a masters DH. No idea if they'd get enough takers to make it worthwhile (and I'd have a hell of a time getting time off to do it), but it would be a lot of fun.

I'll look into it, looks like Stratton and Gore are the only EC stops on the '22 Speed series. Start training for 2023!

Magic does a speed trap race and a sort of Chinese downhill (fastest time to the bottom down Black Line but only 1 at a time). It is not sanctioned.
