If soup is bought at a ski resort but consumed at the desk, does it count?

Sounds like a lot of rain coming in for the northern peaks this weekend.
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Hard for me to argue with this one minus a few months of any given year but a bit of pot/kettle here don't you think?

More like the dock boy but splitting hairs. Snob might be a bit harsh, let's just say I have gotten more selective with age.

Day 2 on the BROD. I decided to “ski” today. Conditions were firm and fast. No soup so not sure if it counts as a day?

Brother arriving later today from Montana and Mom from the real Upstate is here on the coastal compound for giving some Thanks. Be well you Turkeys!

Pow snob is a term of respect. And that age thing is called wisdom.

Harsh was the wrong word, I should have said overstated. I've been in the yard all day huffing leaf blower exhaust, it's like a bad balloon hit.

I paid someone to do my leaves for the first time ever. Should have done that years ago! This way I can spend more time working in the woods and actually get enjoyment out of my labor. My wife understands, but I'm not sure she agrees necessarily.

That's a bummer, wind literally blows 90% of my leaves into the woods, some in front of the garage and a few by the back steps.

Opening day afternoon laps provided a mix of plate, bumps, sand, sun and at 1 pm, a light crowd. Deep left side OG laps with only 1 of 20 people gong this way were fun. DS was slick with a few long gap slides to the next set of piles and a number of kooks to avoid. Awfully sunny and nice out, great day to breath deep and look out far and wide.

Kraken were looking for snow, not so deep as Laps covered grass at Stowe, a "maybe" ribbon of snow skiers left on Ripcord about 20' wide that could be skied. Unfortunately an excavator chewed up the lower left part of the headwall, probably fixing a leak, and dislodged a couple of boulders into the trail. Lower mountain looked harsh.

Worked all morning, but took a shot near opening from job site. Paved and helicopter lot filled, must have been a shitshow at opening bell. Lots of overnight arrivals all over the Village.

Slow start but nice to see the ground frozen under the chairs.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Sun was out at daybreak but has gone missing now. 29º 36º 32º base mid summit, looks like a warm layer. Get some before that turkey!
