Bring sharp skis. We've had excellent training conditions recently.

LAPS I was pondering this same thing and the two things I came up with were it’s early season and the rec skiers who didn’t get out last year haven’t relearned to zip their pockets and since I was teaching my friend to snowboard I was moving at a much slower pace than normal giving more time to notice things on the trail side.

ML - no glades yet. Not anywhere. Thanksgiving weekend at Tremblant was the brownest I’ve seen in 15+ years.

Ahhh, well your report on conditions at Stratton were spot on. I can tell you it was still snowing and softening up when I left at 4.

I have video but can’t figure out how to post it from the app.

In other bad news, there will be no MyChamplainValley discount lift ticket card this year.

They are offering the nordic ski card, just not for the alpine resorts.

A little late but checking in for ‘21/‘22...first day on snow today at WF...after watching Monday’s weather through the basement window while doing a tile job...it skied surprisingly well...couldn’t believe it actually, as was expecting to be a rink. Whateva, I’ll take it...first day in the books. Hoping to have my 2y/o on skis by the end of the season so stoked for ‘22!

Fun day out at someday bigger yesterday. Ski right on lapping Barker with light snow falling all day. Good first day to work on the turn. Saw a few folks uphilling. They all looked hot and only took one lap.

Paid $91 for the ticket which I am quite sure is my all time high. Friend calls last night flying Boston to Vancouver for $370 and four packs are $67 a day at whistler

I will definitely take you up on that offer especially if you can guarantee waist deep blower and a couple of tips from Mrs B on how to look perfect in every pic.

Go off doesn’t hang out here much any more but I know he’s pretty happy with Basin right now. Did an on-the-spot binding mount for him.
