Was a beautiful evening in the jersey alps, hard to beat good snow, good buddies and a good sunset wherever it may set. Skiing = fun

This got posted in Gear Swap, if you haven't changed your password for awhile there's a scammer that has gotten some old login creds that keeps hawking shit under other people's accounts. Do yourself a favor and change your stuff if it's old.

Does anyone know JayPowHound? Ask him to get in touch with me if he wants his account back.

Wow, its 1995, I'm driving my moms car in the middle of the night around town because there is nothing else to do. Listening to weird stories about mel's hole and UFOs on Coast 2 Coast AM, bumper music segment kicks in. The Year of the Cat. Life is good.

    Thx for the memories.

Fun time with perfect weather. Snow depth of 7"-18" which is very low considering it is unconsolidated. Plenty of rock hits and log hops and the runout was extra spicy.

Very nice looking turns considering the relatively low tide out there right now. I haven't bothered taking the touring skis out yet.
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Last weekend was decent in the woods, somewhat tracked out and a little bush-wacky in the low traffic zones, but still fun; this incoming Weds-Fri storm will help a lot.

I'll be at my house again for Sat & Sun if you're still around for the weekend (wish I could get up Thurs/Fri but am chained to my desk after a week out west) - green jacket/blue pants, ask about change for a nickel.

    Thanks for the recs!

More info on where they’re looking:

Friend #1 would like to be closer to Stowe but would likely consider Warren area.

Friend #2: has been looking at a large circumference around Manchester, VT up to Killington, up to Warren - so not too particular, although they'd prefer a shorter commute from Boston.

Perhaps PMing any further suggestions is better? Keep the tree stoke flowing.

Friend 2 should call Andy Reed at Four Seasons Southeby's in Manchester. FWIW - from Boston the drive to So VT kinda sucks compared to just shooting up 93 to 89 to get to NVT. Particularly if it's snowing.

It's pretty simple actually... catching a photo of Aldo in the act of skiing is near impossible and real-estate advice is readily available on the trgz

    Soked to share some laps.
Caveat: I've never been here before.

If no one is around and willing to pm me some itinerary beta for a low tide, base depth 18-36", pow day that would be great. Will be likely running new renegades for the first few laps so if I'm on my own preference to not shralping them over getting into the steeps etc....

    If someone is around...game on.

I will be at Cannon tomorrow, was thinking of heading up to Jay or Sugarloaf for the impending snow Thursday and Friday. Trying to figure out where to go on the weekend that won’t be mobbed. Maybe Black Mountain. It would be swell to ski with someone(s) from here.

Burke should be relatively un-mobbed compared to Jay.
