nice harv, scott. glad it was good.
i considered gore friday - as i loved my first and second intros to the mtn last march - but got frustrated trying to get a handle on the available routes. lots of named trail-lets...they need an interactive trail map!

The weak underbelly... lame ski (and snow) report updating.

It was a Gore kind of day, you had to do a lot of traverse to get around, but there were some good bumps.

Not sure of the exact trails but you had to ski down to the bottom of the Topridge chair and take it back up. From there you could download the Gondi or walk to an open trail down to the bottom via quicksilver. There was one nasty mud spot on one of quicksilver’s turns but overall it was pretty good.

From the summit it was quite a "run" to get to the bottom:

Cloud to Headwaters to Tannery to the Top Ridge Chair, a short walk to Foxlair or Fairview, then on to Sunway, to Quicksilver to 3B to the Arena.

Broski is right, one big chocolate mess on the way down, other wise pretty solid.

You could download if you wanted.

What justice? Jay and Burke are in limbo and there’s still a hole in Newport.

Did you expect the government and/or the criminal cases to resolve any of those things? Prison time for Quiros and Stenger is the only outcome I was hoping for here and I'm just glad Jay and Burke have had several successful seasons since going into receivership.

Every indication and rumor I’ve heard is it’s not Vail.

Am I remembering correctly that Rob Katz made a comment on the Storm Skiing podcast that they were not in the running for Jay?

I spoke to Steve in March. He said there were 2 or 3 in the mix and it's possible it's bought by someone we haven't heard of. VC.
