Likely going to be zero[0] spots in the Notch parking lot by 7:15 most weekends.
Sucks as we'll have to leave by 5:45 to get one for some slide path skiing.

    fact.
A season pass at Smuggs isn’t much more than a bogus parking pass at Stowe. Just park on the north side and ski over and have access to both mountains.

How is this going to streamline the parking fiasco??

Edit to add that they don’t give a f*ck about the parking, just trying to squeeze more $$ out of people.

their post on instagram about the parking situation was an absolute bloodbath, and rightfully so; it's a greedy corporate money grab with no actual guarantee of parking, what a sham. serious lack of information on the whole thing too, i.e. the fine print you guys mention. the way I see it is that it's basically a tax on the locals who want to ski regularly on weekends. Stowe (read as: Vail) sucks, I won't ever be going back there.

This sounds like a great plan.

Next year I think my pass will just cover the North side of the ridge.

It’s all downhill to the car if you park on the Jeff side.

About a week to 10 days out from peak foliage here in Acadia… one of my favorite things. If any mags want to come ride bikes, I’ve got a place for you to stay. Includes free parking.

If this were a Vail promo, upon arrival you would be told parking is $50. When you reference the promo, they would point out the bike in the pic and say, yes, parking is free FOR THE BIKE. Cars are $50!

    I presume you meant car........

Looks like maybe it has protections from playing here. I would nominate for Best East coast line. EVAH

I think I'm going to get a multi-mountain bs for the first time in a decade or more and be Ikonic. Really hoping to get some daze at K/Bush/Loaf, and if anyone wants to hit Tremblant happy to meet up there too.

Not sure that works for me. From my aerie bob it's an hour to the lot on a good day, going through Morrisville to Smuggs is 1:29 [with no 3 way stop issues, though early enough to not be an issue] and Richmond > Underhill is 1:23. Might just as well leave xtra early and get an early start which would also save the added time on the trip home, and allow a quick stop at the Alchemist.

In other news, Tatro has been busy the past few weeks installing new tower guns on the new pipe they installed earlier this year. Haven't seen any chopping for the dumbass Reverse Traverse realignment from the window, Might have missed this years window.

    ^ seconded.

Met him and BB at a mag get together at Kokomas' place on Moose Wilson Rd last February. Just a humble nice guy. Would never know he's a pro skier and I surely would never call him out with, "I'm so much better than you."

BB is from my home town in VT although she is way younger than me so we don't know a lot of people in common.

Cool at a drive in, I like that idea. Maybe convince them a bonfire is a good idea

Super freak eh I was wondering where exactly. Nice snow year and I had no idea that was baby bears squeeze riding that way back in 2011. Sure would be great to catch it in some good snow

He's skijunky05 on TGR but I haven't seen a post from him in years. Search for the trip he did with his buds from UVM back in 2005(?); it's a hall of fame TR. Might even be in the HoF thread....
