Cannon pushed opening day back to Dec 4. Making snow up top.
Wondering if it's worth a day trip to Sunday river over Thanksgiving. Loon not even open.
    Stick season endures.

The River is pushing hard to get more terrain open, but base area temps haven't been helpful. This week's forecast looks better, but yesterday featured two ways down on the triple with 30+ minute waits top and bottom. Lots of race teams here right now.

Thanks that's helpful. Not worth it.

Conditions aren’t terrible at the Loaf. Soft turns this morning are a nice way to ease into the season

I went out around 1pm and it was pretty decent, super springy.

Didn't have any soup so nothing to report there

Not everyone has chefs that are required to satisfy highly descerning Midd undergrads available at their local mountain cafeteria, ya cock-a-leekie!

Being new to the ice coast. I gotta say it is impressive how early some of these hills install the moguls.

Some resorts like Killington have installed the Per-M-ogul™ system on key early opening trails to get ahead of the others.

East Coast Roll Call 21-22 We have a hot date with Skadi, Pictures at 11

$teaux snowglobe got a good shake. Protected trails had enough base to slide down confidently.

And the wide open trails had drifts up high, but full on survival skiing at the bottom.

Good one laps! Opening day Friday, snow for the weekend, cold temps to hang around for a bit: so far my sacrifices to Ullr are paying off!

I've got nothing on the schedule until Saturday, and until/unless they can get more terrain open, I'm not feeling like I'm missing much getting more stuff done around the house.

Took the dog for a walk today up Merrill Hill, where they're hard at work on a trail/road crossing, and got a good view of the snowmaking efforts elsewhere in the process. I don't think substantial terrain expansion really soon is out of the question.

Nice work, Laps. It was squalling hard driving down 89 this morning, I was hoping the high peaks got some coverage.

Hoping Sugarbush crowds clear out by the time I get there Sunday.

Have a friend that lives on the west end of Oneida Lake. He got more than a foot. Too bad it's flat as a pancake up there.
