The River is pushing hard to get more terrain open, but base area temps haven't been helpful. This week's forecast looks better, but yesterday featured two ways down on the triple with 30+ minute waits top and bottom. Lots of race teams here right now.

I went out around 1pm and it was pretty decent, super springy.

$teaux snowglobe got a good shake. Protected trails had enough base to slide down confidently.

And the wide open trails had drifts up high, but full on survival skiing at the bottom.

I've got nothing on the schedule until Saturday, and until/unless they can get more terrain open, I'm not feeling like I'm missing much getting more stuff done around the house.

Took the dog for a walk today up Merrill Hill, where they're hard at work on a trail/road crossing, and got a good view of the snowmaking efforts elsewhere in the process. I don't think substantial terrain expansion really soon is out of the question.
