East Coast Roll Call 21-22 We have a hot date with Skadi, Pictures at 11

Looks like Laps had some legitimate turns, Congratulations!!!

Another long winter in front of us. Hope everyone can make the best of it and stay safe all winter. 30 year anniversary of Valley life for me and looking forward to celebrating with fun adventures near and far.

Gong show predicted at the resorts, so off the beaten path might be the best choice.

    Have fun and ski hard.

Didn’t catch it last night, but it was still flickering a bit on the horizon this morning.

Laps and ayobang way to lead us out of the darkness.

Giddy up. Still have another day of opening new glades at Black Mountain of Maine this Saturday. Shoot me a message if interested.

Glade man busy! On my list [again] for a visit.

Good timing on new thread with an overnight dumping of 3/8" of snow.

Walked outside yesterday to the roar of air and thought snowmaking had started. Went to job site at Snow Creek and saw no guns running but what sounded like a giant air leak near Steins. Couple hours later stepped outside and could hear the clanky rattling of an excavator on Gondolier. Leak fixed and guns pumping it out on Jester this morning.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a NY metro shop that can competently manage a CAST Touring mount? Nobody seems to know anything about it, and I'm reluctant to be my local shop's guinea pig. It seems there is just enough of a learning curve that it's better to use a shop that's done a dozen of them or so.

    Thank

No recommendation in the area or anything but are you installing them with Inserts or just having them mounted straight to the ski? If the latter I don’t see why someone that mounts look bindings would have a hard time. Basically installing the slide plate onto the ski in the pivot screw pattern by screwing the included screws through the shoulder bolts.

You may have a hard time getting anyone in the area to mount them for liability/ insurance risk issues.

Props to Laps and Ayo for getting yesterday. Today didn’t disappoint, grass powder, mud smears, sun and valley fog, great way to start the year.

This is what I think of for opening day at k-mart:
