my own, less consequential holy fuck:
after a morning of first and second tracks zone evaluations i got the first crack of an untracked chute without ducking a rope.

easily one of 2-3 best days of the season.

my first tracks at right. back for my 2nd. pinch me

^^ it was. and it is.

^^^ stowe looks good and deep there, laps.
yes nothing like small crowd on a pow day!

and from MRG, this just in:
We will suspend operations for the midweek period with the hopes of opening for at least one day next weekend. A continued streak of colder days this week should help to get us to next weekend! Check back for additional updates here later in the week.
my first tracks through chute were 2+ hrs after opening bell (just after pic below)
best turns of the day were on nats that were bare ground the previous morning.
    and it's dumping again!

    Awesome bucket!

I hadn't been to Greek all year, and decided to drive the extra 15 mins (vs Plattekill from my house) to see some friends I hadn't seen in two years.

I wasn't expecting new snow. It snowed like crazy most of the day, with a few peeks of sunshine

    No snow in town

ETA: I was racing to catch one more chair at 3:50 and the incredibly cute girls running the lift told me... oh this lift spins until 5pm.

Woah. Went for it. I told myself, if it stops snowing before 5, I'll quit. Nope. All the way.

Sooooooooo, I see on the InstaFace that they are blowing snow at Da Loaf today. Does that foreshadow a longer season or the awareness that y'all might not even make it to the 17th without a little help?

Pretty decent today considering the dismal snow year. Click image for larger version.

Can confirm the hose action, just skied some sweet ass gunpowder. Passholder BBQ is the 17th so we'll make it that far anyways.

Insane tumble down tucks, apparently he walked away, with a little help.
I saw this when it was first posted and shared with a few friends. It appears the post has been removed. Hmmmm.

Ahoy ECRC! I have offered and delivered on some Cannon discount vouchers here and there over the years. Now I am looking for a miracle at Stowe this weekend as I will be accompanying my son for his PSIA level 1 class.
I predict guests services at the Vail Resorts will look at my Cannon letterhead with disdain, grimace, and pick it up with thumb and forefinger as if it were contaminated by poo from something other than a goldendoodle.
My understanding is no uphill on piste there during the day, and it might be dicey off piste.
So if you are holding a comp for $teaux for this season... I need a miracle!

So I rode in Waitsfield, but I don't know what's open or closed. And it was just to try my new fatty. I had zero interest in skiing, thats for sure. I did see a few mtn bikes on cars (skinny tires). Caddy looked all dirt, but again, I don't know if it was open.

I doubt any bike trails will be open, a few inches of snow plus rain Weds/Thurs will have things fairly muddy.

    I need a stowe miracle!
A couple weekends ago I went to a big show in a stadium and the two of us had an extra ticket and we were a little late getting there. There was a kid outside with his finger up and we gave him a miracle. Felt great!
Tame Impala, fun show although maybe not the vibe of most folks here since this music is not... old.
Check it out if you want something fresh.
They has lasers and trippy video screens and all that.
